I have been running numerous simulations for the upcoming expedition. I have had to revise my previous calculated prediction of our team succeeding of 14.7% down to 12.8%.

Perhaps there are other factors that I have not taken into account yet...

He cannot stay awake for 2 weeks straight. Given the state that he was in mentally after 3 days awake, I don't think we can leave him alone safely. And therefore, he would be a risk if he was left sleeping alone.

Expeditions and suitable equipment for them is a separate matter from personal feelings towards other people.

Both Genichirou and Renji have said good things about him, and I trust their judgement.
